Garlic Artichoke Black Pepper Basil Hummus

One of the things I love about hummus is that it’s so versatile. You can change it up in so many ways but just adding a few different ingredients. This has the same base ingredients as our Garlic Hummus but we’ve added artichokes, whole peppercorns and fresh basil.
Serves 12
10 minutes to prepare
5 cloves garlic
5 cups chickpeas
3 tablespoons tahini
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup water, or chickpea liquid
2 tablespoons fresh basil
1 tablespoon black peppercorn, whole
4 artichoke hearts, whole, canned
Place all ingredients in your blender or food processor and process until smooth.
